Medical travel insurance for foreigners

Medical acceptance does not apply to this insurance; you do not have to answer questions about your health beforehand. Note: The medical travel insurance only covers unexpected costs. If you have a pre-existing condition or complaint when the insurance is taken out, we will not refund any related medical expenses. This also applies if you did not know about the condition or complaint at the time you took out the insurance.

The OOM Schengen Visitor Insurance provides medical travel insurance for a maximum of 6 months. This insurance will help you meet the requirements for the Schengen visa or short stay visa. If you expect to stay in the Netherlands for a longer period of time, the OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands Insurance will suit you better. This medical travel insurance complies with the temporary residence permit visa and has a more extensive cover.
