OOM Schengen Visitor insurance provides cover for unexpected medical expenses, and meets the Schengen visa requirements. You will receive reimbursement for unexpected medical expenses of up to €500,000.

You can take out OOM Schengen Visitor insurance for a maximum of 6 months. If you are aged 80 or above, then your insurance will be valid for a maximum of 3 months.

This health insurance without a BSN provides reimbursement, for example, for:

• General Practitioner costs
• Medication
• Specialist care
• Hospitalisation
• Dental costs following an accident up to €350

You can also insure for liability. We will then reimburse damage caused by you to persons or property in the Netherlands up to €1,250,000.

Schengen Visitor insurance in a nutshell:

• For all ages
• Insurance for a maximum of 3-6 months
• Cover for medical expenses up to €500,000
• Possibility to take out liability insurance
• Meets the Schengen visa requirements

OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands insurance provides extensive cover for medical expenses, and meets the temporary residence permit visa requirements.

You can take out OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands insurance if you are younger than 70 years of age on the start date. You can take out OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands insurance for a maximum of 12 months.

• General Practitioner costs
• Medication
• Specialist care
• Hospitalisation
• Dental costs following an accident up to €350

You can also insure for liability. We will reimburse damages caused by you to persons or property in the Netherlands up to €1,250,000.

Provisional Residence in the Netherlands insurance in a nutshell:

• For people younger than 70 years of age
• Insurance for a maximum of 12 months
• Extensive cover for medical expenses
• Possibility to take out liability insurance
• Meets the requirements of the temporary residence permit visa (MVV)

OOM Studying in the Netherlands insurance provides extensive cover for medical expenses and damage. You can take out healthcare insurance, dental cover and a package insurance.

This insurance is for young people between 15 and 29 years of age. You can take out insurance for a period ranging from 1 day to a maximum of 5 years. When you are going back home, you can cancel the insurance at any time.

This health insurance without a BSN social security number provides reimbursement, for example, for:

• Dental costs following an accident up to €500
• Standard dental costs up to €450 for young people up to age 17 years
• Liability up to €1,250,000
  Note: Items you are renting or leasing, for example, are not covered
• Travel (with an own risk excess of €125 in the event of theft, loss or damage to luggage)
• Household contents up to €5,000

SOS insurance is always included in the Studying in the Netherlands insurance. This covers, for example, the costs of repatriation (return to your country of origin) or evacuation.

Studying in the Netherlands insurance in a nutshell:

• For people between 15 and 29 years of age
• If you’re coming to the Netherlands for study, an internship or to work as an au pair abroad
• Insurance for a minimum of 1 day
• Insurance for a maximum of 5 years
• You can choose to include healthcare insurance, dental cover and/or package insurance
