False teeth

The OOM Studying in the Netherlands Insurance is a medical insurance for foreign young people who come to the Netherlands as a student, intern or au pair.

You will receive reimbursement for false teeth if:

  • the treatment is for the repair and/or improvement of the teeth
  • an authorised dentist or dental surgeon carries out the treatment

We will reimburse:

  • 75% of the costs for the purchase and positioning of a complete set of false teeth
  • 100% for repairs or refitting of a set of false teeth

With the OOM Studying in the Netherlands Insurance you can opt for no excess or an excess of €150. If you incur costs which are covered by the insurance and you have opted for an excess of €150, you then pay for the first part of the costs yourself.

You have an ill-fitting set of false teeth. The dentist decides to apply a new layer (rebasing) so that your prosthetic fits better. The costs are €350. If you have an excess of €150, you will receive a reimbursement of €200.

You can claim your medical expenses quickly and easily via My OOM.
