Ambulance transport

The OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands Insurance is a medical insurance if you are staying in the Netherlands for a longer period of time but are not (yet) eligible for Dutch national health insurance.

We will reimburse the costs of transport by ambulance if it is a medical necessity, you cannot get to hospital independently and transport is by road.

An excess applies to OOM Provisional Residence in the Netherlands Insurance. If you incur costs which are covered by the insurance, you pay the first part of these costs yourself. Per period insured your excess is €200.

You are knocked down by a car on a zebra crossing and are unconscious. An ambulance transports you to the nearest hospital. The journey costs €700. You have an excess of €200. You receive a reimbursement of €500.

You can claim your medical expenses quickly and easily via My OOM.
