Transport of mortal remains

The OOM Temporary Residence Abroad Insurance is a medical insurance for if you stay abroad for a longer period of time (up to a maximum of 2 years).

What does the insurance reimburse?

On death, we will reimburse costs up to a maximum of €25,000 for:

direct transport of the mortal remains to the country of origin and other transport costs
a prescribed inner coffin

Are there costs for you?

No excess applies to transport of mortal remains.

An example

The insured person dies while abroad. The transport costs of the mortal remains to the Netherlands are €1,695. We will reimburse these costs.
