Medical conditions and complaints that already existed before or on the commencement date of the insurance policy are not insured, and therefore do not qualify for reimbursement. This applies not only to medical conditions and/or complaints that you already know you have, but also to medical conditions and/or complaints that you were unaware of but which nevertheless already existed.
